Stuff to do before the services port: 1. [Decided against making this change] CFounder and Founder get access level 13, but nothing special is in the default levels for "13". These are things that the founder can do, but a cfounder can't because they're disabled by default: { CA_PROTECT, ACCESS_INVALID }, { CA_CLEAR, ACCESS_INVALID }, { CA_INFO, ACCESS_INVALID }, { CA_TOPIC, ACCESS_INVALID }, When populating the database, those options should probably be set to level 13 instead of disabled. 2. [Done] Since Auspices doesn't have an "access levels" option, we should probably have the database converter set xOP to "ON" for all of the channels that are currently registered and let the users turn it off if they want access levels. 3. [Fixed] Some of the data isn't showing up in the new database. #Evergreen_Forest has a user called "Dusty|Paws", who should be in the SOP list, but never made it into the list on the Anope test we're running. I suspect a problem with adding a slave nickname instead of the master of a nickname group. 4. [Feature, not bug: Each nickname in a group has its own expire time in Anope. In Auspices, as long as one of the nicks in a group is being used, the sub nicknames won't expire, regardless of how long it's been since they've been used] Dogz has a ton of linked nicknames on Auspices. The conversion yielded 13 of them, but ended up missing: Evil_DictatorisSLEEPING, Dogz_UBERWORK, Dogz_UBERARBEIT, Hatter, Fastclaw Stuff to do during the services port: 1. Compile and install Anope on Dogma. 2. Do a current database conversion and connect Anope to the test network to make sure that the compile and database port worked. 3. Once adequate testing is completed, shut down Anope and re-configure it to connect to the live network. 4. Shut down Auspices. 5. Import the most current data into the database. 6. Tarball (to backup) and remove the Auspices directory from /etc/ircd/auspice 7. Change the /ns, /hs, etc. aliases from Auspices to Anope in the Unreal configuration on all of the servers and rehash. 8. Connect Anope to AnthroChat.
